StreakUp ("we", "our", or "the app") is a habit tracking application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

1. Information We Collect

When you use StreakUp, we collect the following data:

• Account information: Your Google account display name, email address, and profile picture (provided via Google Sign-In).
• User-generated content: Routines you create, task completions, streak data, challenge participation, and todo items.
• Photos: Proof images you voluntarily upload to verify task completion.
• Usage data: Completion timestamps, streak counts, and activity history used to display your progress.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the app's core functionality (routine tracking, streaks, challenges).
• To display your profile and progress to you and (in challenges) to other challenge members.
• To calculate streaks and unlock badges.
• To enable social features such as friend challenges and leaderboards.

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase services (Firestore, Authentication, and Cloud Storage), hosted on Google Cloud Platform infrastructure. All data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.

4. Data Sharing

Your data is shared only in the following limited cases:

• Challenges: When you join a challenge, your display name and task completion progress are visible to other challenge members.
• Public routines: If you mark a routine as public, its name and tasks (not your completion data) may be visible to other users.

We do not share your data with advertisers or third-party analytics services.

5. Third-Party Services

The app uses the following third-party services:

6. Data Retention

Your data is retained as long as your account exists. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us (see below).

You can request complete deletion of your account and all associated data by sending an email to the contact address below. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

8. Children's Privacy

StreakUp is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.

9. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your data.
• Withdraw consent (by deleting your account).

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
